Painting (repainting and new)

Painting is our core business and the company can give customers the assurance that only the best quality products are used which enables us to honour our guarantee without any doubt whatsoever.

Damp- and Waterproofing goes hand in hand with painting and with many years experience in this specialized field the company can offer the customer peace of mind when resolving any damp- or waterproofing issues.




Below are examples of our Scope of Works as pertained in our Standard Quotes

Painting of Exterior Walls: Ground sheets are placed all the way around the property so as to ensure maximum cleanliness and as little mess as possible; all areas not to be coated will be masked off with heavy duty masking paper and masking tape to ensure neatness of the application; all painted wall areas will be thouroughly cleaned and ground by means of an electrical driven angle grinder using carborundum grinding discs; all minor cracks are repaired with fibre reinforced patching compound and where necessary bad plaster will be replaced; coat the walls with one coat Acrylic Sealant; apply two coats PVA leaving the walls with a smooth finish. (All paint and materials included) Ten year guarantee.

Painting of Interior Walls: Clean all walls to workable base; all nails to be removed; repair all holes and cracks with filler; apply two coats of paint.(All paint and materials included) Ten year guarantee.

Painting of Ceilings: Remove all loose flaking paint; fill gaps with filler (cornices); apply one coat undercoat on new ceilings; apply two coats enamel paint. (All paint and materials included)

Painting of Doors and Frames: Clean all surfaces to a workable base; apply two coats of paint. (All paint and materials included)

Damp Proofing (Tanking): Remove plaster in affected areas down to raw brick; re-plaster by means of the SWS sytem; apply two coats bond aid and lateral sealer vertical and horizontal to the wall; re-plaster with a 1:3 plaster mix with Renderguard Gold and 42.5 Mpa cement; allow 2-6 weeks for drying before applying paint. Five year guarantee.
